Our Executive Director
Alex Hunt
Alex Hunt is the Current executive director of The Haven of Manitowoc. With five years in the non-profit sector, they have made a notable impact through their roles as a recovery coach and peer support specialist. Their professional journey includes serving as an ED2 Supervisor and Programming Manager at Lighthouse Recovery Community Center, where they significantly contributed to program development and leadership. Their lived experiences with substance use disorder, mental health challenges, homelessness, and incarceration provide them with a unique perspective and deep empathy in their work. They are also pursuing a degree in Christian Leadership and Management, further strengthening their ability to lead with both compassion and strategic insight.

- The Haven’s Mission is to advocate for homeless men while providing community resources and a holistic approach towards self-sufficiency.
